The Board of Directors of District 21 has voted to cancel the Sparks-Reno Regional scheduled for October 4 through 10, 2021. The Board took into consideration high COVID-19 positivity rates in that area, the indoor masking requirements in Nevada, the current hygiene protocols of the host hotel, and the impact of fires on air quality. Out of concern for the health of players and support staff and to provide certainty, we are announcing the cancellation now. The Tournament Planning Committee appreciates the cooperation of the Nugget Casino staff and looks forward to returning to the site in the future.
Be aware that the cancellation of the bridge tournament will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. The hotel will honor the bridge rates if you decide to use your reservation, but otherwise you will need to cancel your own reservation.
